On Saturday, August 5, Port Lorne will once again celebrate Heritage Days. The celebration begins at 10 am with our local delicacy: fried bread. Other offerings include muffins, burgers and hotdogs. Antique car owners are invited to a show and shine from 11 am to 3 pm. Local authors will gather to present their work and history of the area. The cutting of our community cake will take place around 3 pm followed by evening potluck BBQ at 530. We are excited to host an evening of story-telling with the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council's sesquicentennial project, "Annapolis Region's Maritime Culture: Then & Now." Storytellers are all welcome!! On Sunday at 10:30am there is a blessing of our fishing fleet, the new community park and the community at an outdoor church service in Port Lorne's Fundy View Park by the wharf.
